- 3 key words that help modify and/or exemplify your principle
- brief explanation on how each word relates
- How does the principle apply to recreational situations?
- How does the principle apply to everyday functions?
- Using the "Leave No Trace Outdoor Skills and Ethics" guide, students will be assigned a principle and asked to do the following:

- Leave No Trace Audit
- In groups, determine how to assess the 7 LNT principles.
- Review the prominent characteristics/practices of each principle.
- Determine criteria to look for to assess the successful implementation (or lack of) of each principle.
- Compile criteria (min. 2-3 criteria for each principle) to create a LNT audit to be utilized to determine the sustainability of a recreational area.
